Easter Morning

Yes, the Easter Bunny came. He left a nice basket and a sweet little train. You'll notice the look of disdain as McKenzie tries to figure out what "grass" is?

Hi there! We're sorry for the lack of posts lately. Mommy has been busy. McKenzie is doing really well: she loves to sleep, laugh, and put ANYTHING in her mouth. Here we caught her trying to "escape" from the crib and then in a last ditch effort- gave up! She is now 8 months. We don't know her weight or height but I'll guess it's about 21 lbs. and 30 in.

P.S. No crawling or walking yet.

First Tooth!

It's true, just yesterday Heath discovered a cute little tooth peeking out of McKenzie's bottom gum. They grow up so fast.

6 Months

Well, I can't believe it, a whole 1/2 year has passed. It really did come and go!! McKenzie just had her checkup. At 18.5 lbs she is in the 90% percentile for weight. Measuring 27.5 inches she is in the 95% percentile for height. She has mastered sitting on her own with occational falling. No teeth yet but she loves her bananas and apples. The doctor is so pleased with her growth and (like everyone else) laughed at her "chunky" legs. They are so cute!! We'll keep updating as soon as there is more news to report. Love ya'll.
